You're running a mixed fleet. Windows laptops on one side, a couple of MacBooks on the other. You need one dock that plays nice with both, and you need IT to manage it without opening every unit.
The ThinkPad USB4 Smart Dock 5500 does exactly that. USB4 upstream at 40Gbps connects to your laptop — Windows 11 or macOS Sonoma/Sequoia — and hands you four 4K@60Hz displays through 1x HDMI 2.1, 2x DP 1.4, and a full-function USB-C video port. Six USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports and two USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports cover every peripheral on the desk.
The Lenovo Accessories Fleet Manager (LAFM), powered by AWS, sits in the dock's firmware. Your IT team pushes updates, tracks inventory, and monitors health remotely. No one's pulling a laptop off a shelf to check a driver version.
135W adapter included. 100W comes back to your laptop through the same USB4 cable (integrated, 1m). Gigabit Ethernet for the wired drop. No audio jack — plug your headset into the USB-C or USB-A ports instead.
Three-year CRU warranty. Eclipse Black. Add to cart and it's in the dispatch queue
