The best way to increase your line capacity per drum size is with a HSC rope & chain kit. HMPE Hi Spec Rope is the same stuff used in 4×4 winches. It is stronger than steel per diameter and goes a long way to adding extra length per given drum size. All HMPE rope kits come with a double braid nylon tops shot for stretch and abrasion resistance against the sea floor. The top shot can be changed with wear if desired. Kit Includes 10mm x 95m double braid nylon w/SS eye splice & 9m x 8mm short link chain. Recommended for boats to 8m, 1900kg breaking. Suits GX3 or any 300mm drum winch.
