Your XGS 116 firewall is doing the heavy lifting every day, but without an active protection subscription it's just a router with extra steps. This 12-month renewal keeps Sophos Network Protection running on the appliance you already have in your rack or under your desk. Same hardware. Same rules you've already configured. Just the security layer refreshed for another full year. Sorts the quiet 'is my firewall actually protecting me right now?' worry before it turns into a Tuesday-morning incident
