The VS-1818T solves that with a single Cat 5e cable per display, pushing full HDMI content up to 100 metres using HDBaseT. One input, eight outputs, local HDMI output on the unit itself for a nearby screen. Supports Ultra HD 4Kx2K and 1080p Full HD at up to 340 MHz bandwidth.
Audio's covered too — Dolby True HD and DTS HD Master Audio pass through cleanly. CEC support means your displays talk back. A bi-directional RS-232 port handles high-end system control if you're running a managed AV setup.
EDID mode selection keeps the source device playing nice regardless of what's on the far end. Anti-jamming design resists signal interference during transmission. Rack-mountable, so it disappears into the cabinet and stops being a problem.
