Server's four metres down the aisle from your switch and you don't want to run a separate Cat 5 cable plus an adapter. The KA7920 bakes a 4.5-metre Cat 5 cable directly into the adapter body. One plug on the switch side, VGA and PS/2 on the server side. No extra cable to manage, no spare part to lose in the rack.
Hot-pluggable. Keyboard and mouse emulation keeps the server steady when you reassign ports. Compact enough to sit in a rack row without hogging space.
The simplest fix when your server's within 4.5 metres of the switch and you just need it live on the KVM console.
