The KA7970 plugs straight into your KH or KL series switch and drops the video and USB right onto the target machine. Four point five metres of Cat 5 cable, built in. No extra adapters, no daisy-chaining.
Keyboard and mouse emulation keeps the server talking to you even if you yank it off the switch mid-session or move it to a different port. Hot-plug it in or out without powering anything down. Video holds at 1600 × 1200 across the full 4.5 m run, so your text stays crisp on the monitor at the other end.
