Eight servers humming behind you and a single keyboard that won't keep up. You've been hot-swapping cables every twenty minutes, losing your place, losing focus. This stops that.
The ATEN CL5808 sits in your rack, takes all eight machines on one console, and gives you a 19-inch LCD right there on the front panel to flip between ports without hunting for a monitor. PS/2 or USB keyboard and mouse – both work, no adapters needed. Video runs at 1280 × 1024 at 75 Hz with DDC2B, so your resolution follows the machine you're on.
Need more than eight? Daisy-chain it out to 256. The DB-25 port handles that cleanly. Port selection is yours: OSD menu, hotkeys, or the physical pushbuttons if you'd rather not touch a keyboard mid-task.
Comes with the standard rackmount kit, two custom KVM cables, a 5-in-1 console cable, firmware upgrade cable, power cord, and instructions. Metal-and-plastic housing, 14.83 kg – it's built to sit in a 19-inch rack and stay put.
