The ATEN CL3716NX slots into a single 1U rail, gives you an 18.5-inch widescreen display, a full keyboard and a touchpad in one sliding housing — and it's built for shallow racks where the big KVM boxes just don't fit.
You get USB and HDMI connections to 16 computers straight from the front. Need more? Cascade two levels and you're controlling up to 256 systems. The integrated display runs at 1366 x 768 @ 60 Hz, which is plenty for monitoring dashboards, server logs and control-room feeds all day.
Broadcast Mode fires the same command to every connected PC at once. Auto Scan keeps cycling through your selected systems so nothing slips past you overnight. Two-level password protection keeps unauthorised hands off your gear, and the front-panel pushbuttons plus multilingual OSD mean you're not hunting for a config file to change a setting.
The LED illumination strip on top keeps the panel readable at 2am when the lights are off and you just need to see which server is blinking. A dedicated hot-pluggable USB HID mouse port on the front lets you swap peripherals without pulling the unit out of the rack.
