Pulling a full monitor out of a 1U rack slot every time you need to touch a server is a pain. This ATEN console puts a 17-inch LCD right in the rack, tucked into a sub-1U Slideaway housing that slides out when you need it and tucks back flush when you don't.

The screen rotates up to 115 degrees so you're not craning your neck at an awkward angle. DDC emulation handles VGA settings automatically across every connected machine — no more guessing which resolution each server wants before you can read the boot log.

Plugs into most PS/2 KVM switches, supports PS/2 and USB peripherals, and the internal power means one less cable to chase down the back of the rack. Adjustable depth keeps it flush whether your rack is 600 mm or 800 mm deep.

Runs on Windows 2000/XP/Vista, Linux, and FreeBSD. Keyboard layout support covers 13 languages including English (UK), so your team's shortcuts just work out of the box
