Your DVI cable stops at 15 metres and the control room is 80 away. Or you've got a kiosk on the other side of the building and the signal just isn't making it clean. The ATEN CE680 kills that problem with a single optical fibre link pushing 3.125 Gbps – full 1920 × 1200 @ 60Hz, 24-bit colour, no degradation over distance. You get keyboard, mouse and monitor access from both the local and remote console. RS-232 serial passes through in both directions (up to 115 kbps), so barcode scanners and legacy gear stay connected. Need a USB touchscreen panel? Plug it into either rear panel.
