The StarTech PEX2S553 drops into any PCIe slot and hands you two full DB9 serial ports running bi-directional RS-232 at up to 460.8 Kbps each. No USB dongle daisy-chain, no driver roulette. Plug it in, set pin-9 power (12 V, 5 V, or none) per port, and you're transmitting.
Standard bracket comes pre-installed; two low-profile brackets sit in the box for slim-case builds. Windows, Mac, and Linux all supported. It's the step up from the PEX2S552.
