The phone's been ringing in the back office and nobody hears it. Or your PA box is just a dead square on the wall. The AN6311 plugs straight into your network, drops into the ceiling, and handles both jobs — background music, emergency paging, alarm signals, and a ringer loud enough that the whole floor knows a call's coming.
It's a SIP-based network audio processor, so it sits anywhere with a network drop. No separate amp rack. No patch-bay spaghetti. Built-in 2×9W digital amplifiers push 48kHz/16-bit audio through the ceiling tile and into the room. You control volume and play status locally on the unit or from your system host.
Power it over PoE (IEEE 802.3af/at) or run a DC15V feed — whichever suits your install. One device, two jobs, sorted before your next Monday
