Your old mSATA or M.2 B Key SSD is still good. Your laptop just doesn't have the slot anymore. The SA221 plugs both into USB 3.0 or standard SATA, so you can pull data off that drive, clone it, or use it as external storage without hunting for a donor board.
Drop in your M.2 (2230 to 2280, B Key) or mSATA (half or full size), clip the detachable USB cable on, and you're reading. The LED tells you it's powered and working. SATA Rev 3.2 speeds mean no agonising transfer times.
Heads up: B Key only. M Key and NVMe drives won't work here. And if you slot both at once, the M.2 takes priority — mSATA goes dark until you pull it out.
In the box: the adapter and a detachable USB 3.0 cable. Ships from our warehouse
