You've got a USB-C laptop or phone, a screen to connect to, and you're done with adapters that cap out at 1080p or make you hunt down drivers before a 9am meeting.
The Simplecom DA105 fixes that. One plug-in, and your USB-C port becomes a full HDMI 2.1 output. 8K at 60Hz. 4K at 144Hz. No software. No fiddling. Mirror or extend — your call.
Solid aluminium shell keeps it compact and tough enough for daily desk duty or the back of a bag. Plug it in, pick your display mode, done.
One thing to check before you buy: your USB-C port needs DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode). Some ports are data or charge only — no video out. If yours supports DP Alt Mode (most modern MacBooks, Windows laptops, and many Android phones do), this is the adapter that just works.
For 8K specifically, you'll need an 8K-capable USB-C port (Intel Iris Xe graphics, for example) and an HDMI 2.1 cable on the other end.
