You've got a modern HDMI source — laptop, media player, streaming box — and the projector or display on your wall only speaks component video. You don't need a new screen. You need this converter.
The Simplecom CM501V2 takes your digital HDMI signal and turns it into analog YPbPr component video plus R/L stereo audio (LPCM). Full HD 1080p, stable output, no fiddling. Plug in the included 0.5m HDMI cable, power it from any USB port or the wall charger in the box, and you're projecting.
It's unidirectional — HDMI to Component only. If you need the reverse, this isn't it. But if your source is HDMI and your display is YPbPr, this is the exact part that makes them talk.
Metal case. 68 grams. Sits on a shelf or under a projector and forgets it's there
