Small board, tight space, and you need a low-current Schottky rectifier that actually fits. The 1N5711 does the job at 15mA in a tiny DO-35 glass body. It's the part that lets your signal-level circuit stop fighting itself on reverse recovery. One or two of these and that half-finished project on your bench is done by lunch. (Heads up: the actual component may look slightly different from the photo — the spec is what matters.)
