Your micro:bit can blink an LED and read a temperature sensor. It can't switch a lamp, a pump, or a motor running on mains voltage. This breakout board fixes that gap in one plug-in step. Four 5V relays sit right under the micro:bit, each rated for 120V AC at 3A or 24V DC at 3A. Drop your micro:bit onto the header, feed 5V DC into VIN/GND, and you're controlling real loads from P3, P4, P6, and P7. Active-HIGH logic keeps the control code simple – set the pin high, relay clicks, load runs. Onboard 3.3V and 5V regulators mean you don't need a separate power rail for the bit itself. Smart-home prototype, classroom automation demo, or a weekend robotics build – it slots in and works
