Your POS terminal still speaks DB9. Your laptop only has USB-C. You're stuck staring at a port that doesn't exist on your machine. This Jaycar 1.5-metre converter bridges the gap. Powered straight from the USB port, so there's no extra brick cluttering the desk. Plug it in and your legacy device talks to Windows, Mac, or Linux without a second thought. 128 kbps serial data, USB 1.1(0) compliant, remote wake-up support so your setup stays responsive overnight.
