This sensor reads hand movement in six directions, plus ambient light, RGB colour, and proximity, all over standard I2C. Four wires to your microcontroller and you're off. Detection range sits between 100 and 200mm, and UV/IR blocking filters keep false triggers out of the data. The board is 20 x 12 x 11mm including pins. Runs from 3.3V. No extra breakout needed
