Jaycar Brass Fuel Fitting – 1/4" NPT to 8mm Barb – MGC710

Your fuel line ends in an NPT thread and your hose wants a barb. Nothing mates, nothing seals, and you're staring at a leak you don't have time for.

This Jaycar brass fitting bridges the gap. One end is 1/4" NPT thread – the American-standard non-metric thread you'll find on a lot of fuel systems. The other end is an 8mm barb you push your hose straight onto and clamp down. Machined from solid bar stock, not stamped sheet.

Thread it in, slide the hose on, fit a hose clamp. If it weeps, back off, add a touch of thread tape or joint compound, and redo it. If it doesn't weep, leave it be.
