You've been there. You print a bracket, thread in a brass insert, and by the second torque it's wiggling loose. Or the whole thing pulls out of the plastic and your build is back to square one. These Jaycar heat press tips fix that in about 20 seconds per insert. Heat the tip, seat it into your threaded brass insert, and the thermoplastic around it softens and locks the connection in place. No more pull-out. No more re-tapping. Just a clean, durable thread that holds under load. The M2 tip is 12 mm long; the M3 tip is 16.5 mm. Shaft outside diameter is 6.5 mm with a 4.75 mm inside hole, 25 mm deep. Assembled length is 40 mm with the M2 tip or 44.5 mm with the M3 tip.
