You need a small indicator bulb for a 12V circuit and you don't want to reverse-engineer a lower-voltage part with a series resistor. This is a 12V lilliput globe – drop it in, light it up, move on. A 6.3V 200mA version is also available as SL2650 if your circuit runs lower
