Your winch cable runs straight and the tree you need to anchor around is 90 degrees off that line. Or you're pulling a trailer jack out of a wash and the angle is killing your pull. You need to change direction without wrecking the cable or overloading the anchor.
The RSC320 is a snatch block – a pulley in a housing – rated at 8,000kg working load and 16,000kg breaking strength. The 106mm-diameter pulley is machined from solid billet steel, not cast. The bearing is pressure-grease lubricated with a 1/8" BSP grease nipple so you can service it in the field.
It accepts wire rope or cable from 6 to 11mm. The housing opens to take bulk Clevis-type hooks or chain-grab hooks, and there's a large eye for snap-straps or shackles. Powder-coated side plates keep the finish looking right after a season of dust.
At 3kg and 265 × 130 × 45mm (max), it bolts into your recovery kit without eating the space you need for the strap, the shackles, and the coffee.
