Your 5/16" gas line needs a flare nut that actually grips and doesn't round off the thread after two tightenings. This Jaycar 5/16" SAE flare nut is machined from solid brass merchant bar to exacting spec. Non-RTM fittings mate with it cleanly. Thread it on, torque to spec, and stop worrying about a weep at the joint while you're out in the paddock
