Your new laptop's all USB-C. Your monitor, your old dongle, the peripherals you actually use? Still USB-A. This little adapter plugs into that legacy port and gives your USB-C device a proper 5Gbps data channel. Anodised aluminium body, 7 grams, vanishes into a shirt pocket. Plug it in, works on Windows or Mac. No drivers, no fuss
