The APC Back-UPS 1200VA/650W sits between your wall and your equipment, smoothing out voltage swings with built-in automatic voltage regulation so you never see a brownout on screen. Four Australian outlets give you room for a tower, monitor, and router without hunting for adapters.
When the mains actually drops, transfer to battery happens in 6 ms typical – fast enough that your PC doesn't even blink. At half load (around 300 W), you've got roughly five minutes to save files and shut down clean. Full load at 650 W gives you about a minute.
Battery's a standard 12 V lead-acid pack. Recharges in about 8 hours. Expect 3–5 years of service before you swap it out (replacement part: APCRBC175).
