This APC Smart-UPS SC 450VA / 280W is a line-interactive unit that puts out pure sine wave – not the stepped approximation your sensitive networking gear doesn't love. It's 1U, so it slides into the top of your rack or sits on a shelf in tower mode. Four IEC C13 outlets plus two IEC jumpers give you room for a switch, an AP, and a small server or POS terminal.
The battery is live-swappable (RBC18). When it's time to replace it, you pull the old one, drop in the new one, no power-down required. Built-in data line protection covers your network and phone lines against surge spikes that slip past the mains filter.
C-Tick, CE, EAC, GOST, TISI, and VDE certified. 38 dBA at full load – you'll hear it, but it won't be the thing keeping you up at night. Runs on 230V, auto-senses 50/60 Hz.
