Not everyone has a rack. Sometimes the UPS lives in the corner of the IT closet, on a shelf behind the patch panel. This APC Smart-UPS SRT 6kVA/6kW tower unit does the same job as the rack version — true double-conversion on-line protection with zero transfer time — but stands on its own feet.
Six C13 and four C19 IEC outlets. Hard-wired 3-wire input. The embedded network management card keeps you in the loop from anywhere, and the SmartSlot lets you bolt on a wireless adapter or extra sensor down the track. PowerChute Network Shutdown handles graceful server shutdown when the grid goes — no more yanking power cables in a panic.
Sine wave output under 2% harmonic distortion, 3:1 crest factor. Internal bypass (automatic and manual) means you can service it without losing your load. Output frequency locks to mains at 50/60 Hz ±3 Hz.
