You've got a UniFi or airMAX device that needs PoE power, and you'd rather not fish a second cable through the wall or hunt for a matching injector.
The Instant 802.3af adapter plugs in and turns your device into a fully compliant 24V PoE-powered unit. One cable carries both data and power. Gigabit throughput keeps the connection fast enough for video feeds, VoIP, or any bandwidth-hungry endpoint.
It's rated for indoor use — desk, shelf, wall bracket, whatever fits your setup. If your device already speaks Ubiquiti PoE, this is the cleanest way to get it running without a separate power brick.
