Your storage array is running without proper RAID protection, or the controller you're on has run out of headroom. The RAID 730-8i gives you eight internal ports over a 12Gb SAS link with 2GB of flash-backed cache sitting in between. PCIe interface means it drops into your ThinkSystem slot and you're configuring volumes before your coffee goes cold. No hunting for a compatible card that won't seat or won't pass Lenovo's firmware handshake
