Your backup job's been creeping longer every night. The NAS is filling up. And somewhere in a drawer there's a tape you can't remember writing to three years ago.
The Lenovo IBM TS2280 (Model H8S) is a standalone tape drive for organisations that need physical, offline archival or long-term backup that doesn't depend on a cloud provider's uptime. You write the tape, you hold the tape. When the audit asks for that 2021 dataset, it's in your safe, not in someone else's region.
It slots into existing TS2280 library infrastructure or runs standalone depending on your setup. If you're not sure whether H8S is the right model number for your current library, call us before you order. We'll confirm compatibility so you're not stuck with a drive that won't seat properly.
