Your remote site can't get fibre. The last wireless box dropped every time a truck rolled past or the rain got heavy. You need a connection that holds up through heat, dust, and the occasional 5G handover — without driving to the city or waiting a week for a national chain to ship something half-specified.
The Cradlepoint W1855 is an outdoor 5G wideband adapter built for exactly this. It sits outside, catches low- and mid-band 5G signal with its embedded NR FR1 modem, and feeds your LAN through two 2.5 GbE RJ45 ports. PoE+ powers the whole unit — one cable in, done. The included 3-year NetCloud Advanced plan means you're not juggling a separate data contract on top of the hardware.
It's purpose-built for fixed locations that need 5G performance without the fragility of an indoor antenna. Dual SIM gives you carrier flexibility if one network dips. One SMA GNSS connector handles location-aware routing when your site moves or your carrier's coverage shifts.
