You need a laptop that handles a 4K video call, a 300-row spreadsheet, and a touch annotation on a contract – all before lunch, all on the road. And when you get back to the office, it docks cleanly into your setup without a tangle of adapters.
The ThinkPad T16 Gen 5 Touch is built for exactly that. The Intel Core Ultra 7 355 with a 49 TOPS NPU runs Copilot+ PC workloads locally – your data doesn't leave the machine. The 500-nit, 100% sRGB touchscreen is noticeably brighter and more colour-accurate than the standard panel. Touch it for quick sign-offs. Use the backlit keyboard for the long sessions.
The Snapdragon X61 5G modem with embedded eSIM keeps you connected in the regional dead zones where 4G gives up. Two Thunderbolt 4 ports handle your dock, external monitor, and fast charging through a single cable. HDMI 2.1 pushes 4K/60Hz to a second display when you're presenting.
32GB of LPCAMM2 LPDDR5X-6800 is upgradable to 64GB when the workload grows. The 512GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD loads your tools in seconds. The 60Wh battery and 65W USB-C charger carry you through a full day of travel and work.
Computer Vision-based presence detection on the ISP means the laptop knows when you've stepped away and locks itself. IR camera for Windows Hello. Fingerprint in the power button. Privacy shutter on the 5MP webcam with vHDR.
3-year Premier Support is included. A technician comes to your site. You don't chase a courier.
