The ATEN VE066 solves that with one Cat 5e or Cat 6 cable running up to 20 metres between the transmitter (at your source) and the receiver (at your display). No more dragging a 15 kg cable through a ceiling void.
Resolution holds at up to 1920 x 1200. HDCP 1.1 is supported, so protected content plays without the handshake error. Hot-plug means you can add or remove the units without powering down your source or display.
It's non-powered – no extra wall wart to lose. Compact housing slots into a rack or sits on a shelf. Works with ATEN DVI switches and splitters, LCD screens, plasma TVs, and projectors.
